Touch Guitars® U8 Deluxe – Markus Reuter Special Edition
Made in Germany – Limited to 10 instruments, shipping December 2025
To mark 20 years of the Touch Guitar Circle (founded in 2005) and the almost 20-year anniversary of the first U8 Touch Guitar concepts from April 2006, Touch Guitars presents the U8 Deluxe Markus Reuter Special Edition — a strictly limited run of only 10 instruments, never to be remade.
Each guitar is handcrafted in the Touch Guitars workshop in Nettetal, Germany, continuing the legacy of the original U8 design, first conceived in 2007 by Markus Reuter and master luthier Ed Reynolds.
This new edition refines and reinterprets that design with modern craftsmanship and aesthetic precision, combining classic ergonomics, outstanding playability, and an unmistakable sonic identity.
Every instrument features Markus’s “Kopfmensch” logo on the headstock and is finished in one of ten unique colors — one per finish, ensuring that no two instruments are alike.
